Coastal TVET College Courses 2026-2027

Coastal TVET College is gearing up to welcome a new wave of students for the 2026-2027 academic year, offering a diverse range of courses designed to build practical skills and open doors to career opportunities. Whether you’re fresh out of Grade 9 or looking to boost your qualifications, Coastal TVET College provides structured, nationally recognised programmes tailored to different learning needs and career paths. One popular option is the National Certificate (Vocational), or NCV, a flexible programme available at NQF levels 2, 3, and 4. Each level takes one full academic year to complete, with students required to study seven subjects per level. This course path is ideal for learners who have completed Grade 9 or higher and want a comprehensive education that balances vocational skills with theoretical knowledge.

Registration for NCV courses is only open in January, so prospective students should plan accordingly. In addition to NCV, Coastal TVET offers NATED programmes, accredited by the Department of Higher Education and Training and quality assured by Umalusi. These programmes focus on practical business and engineering skills. Engineering courses follow a trimester system, lasting three months per level, while Business Studies operates on a semester basis, with six months per level.

Students who complete the N6 level and a specified amount of workplace training, 18 months for Business and 24 months for Engineering, earn a National Diploma (M+3). This structure combines classroom learning with real-world experience, giving graduates a competitive edge in the job market. Coastal TVET College’s 2026-2027 course offerings are well-suited for those seeking hands-on education with national recognition. The College’s focus on vocational training and industry-relevant qualifications makes it a strong choice to kickstart or advance your career path.
